Safe Environments – through their eyes has been developed by the Department of Human Services Child Safe Environments SA team to support individuals who work or volunteer with children. The course will assist them to recognise, report and respond to children or young people who may be at risk of harm and build their ability to provide safe environments within the organisation. It gives them knowledge and understanding of their legal obligation according to Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017 to provide safe environments for children in their role of working with or alongside children in South Australia.
